Senior Accountant – Nasco Group

Nasco Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management.

• Develop, implement, and improve internal accounting controls and procedures.

• Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.

• Review and approve financial reports.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Calculate/review the landed cost of products, including the purchase cost, freight, insurance, customs duty, and other related charges.

• Calculate/review the selling price based on the landed cost and required profit margin.
